Searching the Site
There are two search buttons found on the site. One at the top of the page, under the KENYANLYRICS.COM link
and one at the bottom of the page, just above the 'Main Menu'
Initiating a Search
The search at the top of the page doesn't have a button to be pressed to initiate the search. Once you type in what you'd like to search for, the search is initiated.
The search at the bottom of the page requires you to first enter in what you'd like to search for, then click on the adjacent search button to initiate the search.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The search scans the entire lyrics database, so when searching for something, do not restrict yourself. You can search for anything related to the song, and the relevant results will come up.
For example, let's say Wanjiku heard a song on radio and she liked it. Unfortunately for her, the radio presenter did not say who sang the song, or what the song was called. However, Wanjiku remembers that the artist said "Nataka tu heshima yako" at a point in the song. Wanjiku can come to kenyanlyrics.com and search for "nataka tu heshima yako" and the results will show her all the songs that contain those words within them, and so she can find the the song that she was looking for.
It must be noted however, that for optimal search results, punctuation marks like hyphens, apostrophes, e.t.c should be avoided.
Search Results
The search results are presented in order of relevance. The keywords that have been searched for are highlighted in the results. If the results are unsatisfactory, the terms of the search can be altered from the results page to your preference.
